今次我們會一連分兩集為大家介紹 全新TELOS 推出的兩條電源線背後的技術!

 

正所謂十年磨一劍,TELOS 結集了十年技術及經驗的結晶,精心炮製了兩條分別名為 BLUE 及 ACTIVE 發燒級電源線, 今日等我簡單為大家介紹到底呢兩條電線有什麼神秘的技術蘊藏在內。

 

大家應該記得去年TELOS發表的 V3.1技術,這兩條電線的導體主要正是運用V3.1技術而開發出一種名為 ADC (Absolute Direction Conductor) 絕對導體的全新概念!TELOS自V3.1年代一直強調的方向正確性,特別針對機內的電子零件一旦方向性對齊正確,便能還原最自然最接近原本Master錄音的聲音。線材的導體亦有相同的靚聲方向的特性,最能體現到這個所謂靚聲方向的特性例子是玩fuse的經驗, fuse的中心正正是一條單支的極幼導體,當我們反轉兩個不同方向所出嚟的聲音是完全不同,這個現像足以證明任何導體無論粗幼都會存在一個好聲音的方向,同樣道理電源線的內部導體同時都是由百多條幼芯的單支導體絞合而成,一般線材沒有著重內部導體的方向性,造成方向錯亂,影響聲音的表現造成結像模糊欠缺通透度。按照TELOS的V3.1理論,如果我們在線材加工過程中把導體的方向測定準確,在所有金屬導體於同一方向下絞合所做出來的散芯導體,聲音必然會更上一層樓,這就是最新開發出的″ADC絕對導體″的背後概念。

 

生產ADC導體的過程絕不簡單,根據TELOS 老總小林所說,由於新線材的導體由百多條多種粗幼不一的導體組成,在絞線過程前,他需要先測定每條幼芯線的正確方向,測定靚聲方向後,必須在旁監督整個的加工過程,根據線材加工工廠的工作人員講述, 一般其他廠家的訂單沒有特別要求注意導體的方向性,所以他們在加工線材過程中只是任意地把原線絞合後便交貨。製作TELOS 的ADC導體過程比一般導體複雜要好多倍,沒有一定規模的工廠如NEOTECH萬隆之類級數的工廠是做不了的,所以這次TELOS的ADC導體的加工工序是委託了台灣一等知名大廠NEOTECH 來加工的, 品質有一定保證。ADC絕對導體比一般導體內阻低,大大降低了導電的耗損,有效地還原了原有錄音的細節, 能夠表現出最自然、最平衡,還原度極高的聲音。是一般普通導體所不能媲美的。

 

另外線材的絕緣外皮, 同樣混合了 TELOS 獨家研發的遠紅外線技術配方物料,這種配方物料是混合了稀土及十多種不同礦石粉末組成,我們在之前有關於小紅貼的POST有詳細介紹。此技術能有效擴張微動態及增加細節的還原度。

 

插頭方面選用了由TELOS 特別向WATTGATE 訂製。在組裝插頭時,TELOS可謂一絲不拘,他們發現插頭的三點包括L, N, G 在上螺絲塑緊的扭力對聲音居然有很大的影響,太大的扭力會使聲音過緊,欠缺自然度,太少的扭力則會讓聲音欠密度結像鬆散。TELOS 在實驗室內測試了超過百多個不同扭力的組合,最後找出了最靚聲的扭力數字。 所以廠方強烈建議用家使用此電源線是不要自行轉用其他品牌的插頭,以免改變了原廠的調音效果。

“ADC (Absolute Direction Conductor): A New Concept in Conductors”

In this series, we will introduce the technology behind the two new power cables introduced by TELOS.

TELOS has spent ten years refining its technology and expertise to meticulously craft two high-end power cables named BLUE and ACTIVE. Today, let me briefly introduce the mysterious technology behind these two cables.

 

You may recall TELOS’s V3.1 technology introduced last year. The conductors of these two cables primarily utilize the V3.1 technology to develop a new concept called ADC (Absolute Direction Conductor).

TELOS has always emphasized the importance of directional accuracy since the V3.1 era. When the internal electronic components of a device are aligned in the correct direction, they can reproduce the most natural and faithful sound that closely resembles the original master recording.

 

The conductors of the cables exhibit the same characteristic of directional accuracy. An example that best demonstrates this characteristic is the experience of playing with fuses. The center of a fuse is a single, extremely fine conductor, and the sound produced when two fuses of different directions are reversed is completely different. This phenomenon proves that any conductor, regardless of its thickness, has an optimal sound direction. Similarly, the internal conductors of power cables are made up of hundreds of individual fine conductors twisted together. Regular cables do not focus on the directional characteristics of the internal conductors, resulting in direction confusion, which affects the sound performance and imaging clarity. According to TELOS’s V3.1 theory, if we accurately determine the direction of the conductors during the cable manufacturing process and twist all the metal conductors in the same direction, the sound quality will be significantly improved. This is the underlying concept behind the newly developed “ADC Absolute Direction Conductor.”

 

The process of producing ADC conductors is by no means simple. According to TELOS CEO Mr. Lin, the conductors of the new cables consist of hundreds of different thicknesses and types of individual conductors. Before the twisting process, he needs to determine the correct direction for each fine conductor and supervise the entire manufacturing process. According to the personnel at the cable manufacturing factory, other manufacturers’ orders usually do not specifically require attention to the directionality of the conductors. Therefore, they simply twist the original wires together and deliver the finished cables. The production process of TELOS’s ADC conductors is much more complex than regular conductors, requiring the capabilities of first-class manufacturers like NEOTECH in Taiwan to handle. Therefore, the manufacturing of TELOS’s ADC conductors is entrusted to NEOTECH, ensuring a certain level of quality assurance. ADC Absolute Direction Conductor has lower internal impedance compared to regular conductors, greatly reducing conduction loss and effectively restoring the fine details of the original recording. It can deliver the most natural, balanced, and highly faithful sound that ordinary conductors cannot match.

 

Additionally, the insulation jacket of the cables also incorporates TELOS’s exclusive far-infrared technology formula, which mixes rare earth and over ten different mineral powders. We have previously provided detailed information about the “Little Red Sticker” in our posts. This technology effectively expands micro-dynamics and increases detail reproduction.

 

For the plugs, TELOS specially customizes them from WATTGATE. During the assembly process, TELOS pays great attention to every detail. They discovered that the tightening torque of the three points of the plug, including L, N, and G, has a significant impact on the sound. Excessive torque results in overly tight sound and lacks naturalness, while insufficient torque leads to a lack of density and loose imaging. TELOS conducted tests in their laboratory with over a hundred different torque combinations and finally found the optimal torque setting that delivers the best sound quality. Therefore, the manufacturer strongly advises users not to replace the plugs with other brands to avoid altering the original tuning effects.
