Recta is a high-end cable series from HARMONIC TECH that utilizes solid-core conductors. In most signals, only the surface of the conductor is utilized, resulting in minimal signal transmission through the center of the conductor. As the diameter of the conductor increases, the disparity between the surface and center signal transmission becomes more significant, leading to what is known as the skin effect.
The introduction of solid-core conductors eliminates the presence of a central point in their physical structure. This allows for the majority of the signal to be transmitted on the surface, preventing the occurrence of the skin effect. The surface of the conductor is insulated with a low-capacitance material such as Teflon, facilitating smooth signal transmission.
