Typical power cables are designed with three conductors: L (live), N (neutral), and E (earth). While this type of design performs well in power control, it may compromise detail and micro-dynamic performance. After years of research, Harmonic Tech discovered that using multiple strands of independent fine wires woven together yields excellent results in detail and micro-dynamic performance. The all-new Power Emperor power cable is made from 16 twisted high-purity 7N single-crystal copper conductors, woven in a specific golden ratio. The outer insulation is made from TEFLON, which has a higher density and lower capacitance than standard PVC, significantly reducing distortion from the “capacitive effect” and improving sound fidelity.
The unique weaving method of the Harmonic Tech Power Emperor conductors is key to its exceptional sound quality. This geometric arrangement closely resembles the waveforms of audible frequencies, reportedly allowing it to effectively cancel out external interference.
