The all-new HARMONIC TECHNOLOGY Digital Silver III (75 ohm) USB cable from the USA is officially launched! Unlike traditional analog interconnects, digital cables transmit relatively weaker digital signals. Therefore, compared to pure copper, pure silver is often used for high-end digital cables due to its lower resistive properties.
The new HARMONIC TECHNOLOGY single-crystal pure silver DIGITAL SILVER III coaxial cable features a conductor made from pure silver, enhanced by the manufacturer’s unique Single Crystal OCC Continuous Casting Process, which transforms pure silver into a higher purity single-crystal silver conductor. Single-crystal silver, due to its higher purity and fewer crystal structures compared to standard pure silver conductors, can transmit digital signals more accurately and with less error. However, the cost of producing single-crystal silver is significantly higher than that of single-crystal copper, which is why there are only a few manufacturers in the industry that use single-crystal silver for digital cables.
